INTEGRATE scholar Martin Kesternich (ZEW and University of Kassel) has published with Wolfgang Habla (ZEW), Vera Huwe (ZEW) an article titled “Electric and conventional vehicle usage in private and car sharing fleets in Germany” on the international peer-reviewed journal Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment. The authors use car-level micro data to provide empirical evidence on the usage of conventional and electric vehicles (EVs) in private and car sharing fleets in Germany.
Climate change and air pollution continue to present danger to human health, and interfere with the economy in decremental and costly manners. An in-depth understanding of the interplay between climate change mitigation, local air pollution, human health and the economy is of first importance to researchers, policymakers, business and the wider community. The INTEGRATE project is dedicated to deepen the understanding of this interplay in a global context.
